1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the EdHub AI platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a school or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
EdHub AI is a cloud-based education management platform that provides school administration, teaching, learning, and communication tools. The Service includes web applications, APIs, and related documentation.
3. Account Registration
- Schools must register through an authorised administrator
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- One school account per legal entity unless otherwise agreed
4. Subscription Plans
4.1 Free Trial
Demo accounts are provided for a 14-day trial period. Trial accounts are subject to usage limits and will be deactivated upon expiry. Data from expired trial accounts is permanently deleted after 30 days.
4.2 Paid Plans
Paid subscriptions are billed annually or monthly as selected. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. We will provide data export facilities for 30 days after cancellation.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service
- Resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to the Service
- Use the Service to store data unrelated to school management
- Exceed documented API rate limits or abuse the API
6. Data Ownership
Schools retain full ownership of all data entered into the platform. EdHub AI does not claim ownership of school data. We process data solely to provide the Service, as detailed in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by EdHub AI Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription period.
8. Service Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, or force majeure events.
9. Support
Support is provided via email at [email protected] during business hours. Response times depend on the severity of the issue and your subscription plan. Critical issues (system down, data loss) receive priority response.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdHub AI's total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold EdHub AI harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will provide 30 days' notice for terminations not caused by Terms violations.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may terminate your account.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
